Zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum von Apollo 11 übertrug die niederländische Camras-Gruppe, PI9CAM, mit ihrem 25-Meter-Teleskop in Dwingeloo eine Reihe von SSTV-Bildern (Schmalbandfernsehverfahren in der Bandbreite eines Telefoniekanals) über den Weg Erde-Mond-Erde (EME).

Funkamateure des Astropeiler, DL0EF, haben die Nacht damit verbracht, diese Bilder mit dem 25-Meter-Teleskop zu empfangen. Die Qualität der empfangenen SSTV-Bilder (Martin2, Farbe) war gut und zahlreiche Besucher an beiden Stationen genossen die Veranstaltung.

EME-SSTV 50th Anniversary APOLLO 11

On the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 the Camras group, PI9CAM in the Netherlands, operating the 25m dish in Dwingeloo transmitted a series of SSTV pictures via EME. We at Astropeiler, DL0EF, spent the night watching these pictures coming down from the moon. The quality of the SSTV pictures (Martin2, color) as received on our 25m dish was good and numerous visitors at both station enjoyed the event.
